Preservation takes a community. Caring for historic homes, maintaining gardens and natural spaces, documenting local history, preserving collections, and creating opportunities for people to experience the past are all made possible by people who believe these places and stories are worth protecting.
At Legacy Preservation Enterprise, volunteering can take many forms. Whether you're interested in historic research, working with collections and archives, helping at community events, caring for our properties and gardens, assisting with restoration projects, sharing a specialized skill, or simply lending an extra pair of hands when they're needed, there is a place for you at LPE.
You don't need to be a historian or preservation expert to make a difference. Whether you're working hands-on at a historic property, welcoming visitors, researching local history, tending a garden, or helping behind the scenes, every contribution helps preserve the places and stories that connect our past, present, and future.
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, interests, and skill levels.
